Biography

Marios Tampakopoulos ( father’s name is Evagelos and mother’s name Kaliopi ), was born in Chania Crete on January 16, 1971.

He was accepted, after passing exam, in the – MILITARY ACADEMY OF COMBAT SUPPORT OFFICERS (Medical Division) and graduated with a degree in Medicine at the Aristotle University.

He completed his specialty training in Internal Medicine at the 2nd University Department of Internal Medicine, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Hippokration General Hospital), from 1999 to 2004.

He practiced Internal Medicine in the Medical Corps of the Hellenic Armed Forces, serving in positions of significant responsibility, including as Chief of the Internal Medicine Department of a Military Hospital. He retired from active service in 2024 with the rank of Brigadier – Medical Corps.

He maintains a private medical office in the city of Chania (lissou 14).

He deals with the diagnosis and therapy of internal medicine diseases (fever, infectious diseases, diabetes mellitus, hypertension, metabolic syndrome, dyslipidemia, anemia, rheumatic and autoimmune diseases, osteoporosis, endocrine and thyroid gland diseases, primary health care, annual check up, diagnosis and follow up of chronic diseases.
